Midwinter is a brand-new collection of original solo piano arrangements of some of my favorite Christmas carols. Christmas inspires a range of emotions — excitement, longing, peace — which I’ve tried to capture in this album.
Midwinter is free to listen to as much as you like directly from this page. But if you’d like to take it with you or share with your friends, you can also:
- Download it directly from me. This is the least expensive option, but you’ll need to know how to unzip a file and move it where you need.
- Download it from iTunes, Amazon MP3 or Google Play. Be sure to leave a review on these sites!
- Order a CD for yourself.
- Order a discounted CD gift pack to share with others.
However you listen, I hope it adds a little cheer to your Christmas celebrations this year. If you enjoy it, please take a moment to tell me why, in the comments section below.
You may also enjoy listening to my other Christmas album, Rejoice.
Thanks for your response. I will keep up with updates on your Facebook page and look forward to learning to play some of these beautiful arrangements. Happy New Year!
I have enjoyed listening to your beautiful piano arrangements. As a pianist who is always looking for new music to play, I hope you might consider offering the piano sheet music for sale. Blessings to you and your family.
Thank you, Janet! Sheet music is definitely on my to-list, hopefully this year. If you’re on Facebook, “like” my page there for updates. Happy New Year!
LOVE this album, got one for my mom too and she is loving it also. I’m about to wrap some Christmas presents and will be putting this on to keep me company… and ordering the other album too.
If I need to feel happy and peaceful.. not rushed, hurried or stressed…. I only have to put your two Christmas CD’s on and that is the magic potion. Thanks for sharing your gifts, Michael Johann!
Awww, thanks, Mom!
This one and your other are on CONSTANTLY at our house. We love your music and the warm, fuzzy Christmas spirit it brings to our home!!
Your arrangements are amazing! I love it more than the kettle roasted turkey at Chuck-a-rama or the hot scones. Still, still, still and Away In A Manger made my eyes leak.
Love you Michael and family.
